This screenshot is from Cornwall Today's website. As you can see they have a horizontal bar running across the top of their website which includes all their different sections of the website. When you first enter the website you are conventionally taken to the home page which consists of a images partnered with their heading and a brief description about each article. The home page acts as an overview of the whole website. The first section I'm looking at is the 'What's on' section. This carries over a similar theme to the home page as they have images, headings and a brief description of what the article is about. The audience has the chance here to click on any of the images and it will take you straight to the article so you can looking at the article in more detail. All of the articles are divided into three columns to make the page feel more professional and organised as they're to reach out to their target audience. Furthermore they're all also outlined by the white background to emphasis the articles and make them stand out more to the audience. The content that is usually featured in this section is food and drink, competitions or events that are happen in this region.
The next section along is the 'Features' section. This section is slightly different from the last one has this one has a drop down option when hovered over it. Furthermore this section asked like a 'contents page' for the website in the sense this section includes: Food and drink, recipes, homes and interiors, gardens, health and wellbeing and many more features from Cornwall Today magazine. In the background from this drop down menu you can see that this section still follows the same theme as all the sections which represents a feeling of familiarity to the audience.
Interestingly if you click on the next section which is 'Dog Friendly Cornwall' it takes you to a whole new page. This page then is like a new home page and there is another horizontal bar running across the top with more sections on it. This slightly breaks the theme of the website although this is a nice feature as it gives the feeling of discovering something new and seen as something fresh and new.
The section is a subscribe section for the magazine. This is a conventional section as they're trying to promote their products with there audience. This a smart part of the website as they are trying to get people to subscribe so that they have a guaranteed customer base. This section is frequently near the end of the website but Cornwall Today has decided to put this section right in the middle so that they catch the audience attention when they are indulged with the website.

The next section is the competitions section. Ironically this section contain competitions. This section follows Cornwall Today's traditional website theme. This section is seen in a lot of website and I'm considering it in my magazine although the majority of competitions contain an entry fee and as my magazine is aimed at a younger target audience, stereotypical they wont have any money or neither would they want to use it on competitions so I'm not too sure that a section like this would appeal to my target audience. The next section is their photo gallery. In all of the regional magazine websites I have looked at they rely heavily on there images and having a section dedicated to it seems like a good idea. Furthermore this section follows the same theme and they also have a drop down option again which contains a link to videos on their website. This again is a nice feature and one I'm considering to use on my website
The second to last section is dedicated to a place in Cornwall where the new BBC Poldark series was filmed. This is a nice feature as this section only includes articles and image that relate to Poldark. Personally I haven't heard of Poldark before but after doing some research it seems to be very popular with Cornwall Today's target audience. Furthermore this section again follows the common theme for this website which makes it look professional.
The final section is 'Advertise with us'. This section is very basic and just allows the chance for the consumer to advertise there business/service inside Cornwall Today's magazine.
