The first question I asked my audience was 'What is your gender?' I almost got a 50/50 split which tells me that all the answers in these surveys relate to both genders and Ill need to apply themes that will appeal to both genders.
My second question simply was asking the age of this audience. From these results you can that quite significantly 'under 18's' is primary audience from this research. I will need to clearly adapt themes, colours and content that this audience will want to see in order to make my products successful. My secondary audience will be 18-44 as this group makes up 33.33% of my audience. So some of my features will also need to appeal to this age group.
From these results almost half of my audience ticked the £0 - £24,999. This tells me that the social bracket for my audience will be working class (D-E). This will also tell me that I must use themes to apply to them and this information will help me when coming to finding a price for my magazine. I also have people who answered who would be in the social brackets B-C1.
This question asked the audience of their sexuality. Unanimously all of the audience ticked the 'Heterosexual' box. This just means that all my content has to appeal to this audience.
Again on this question I got a 100% vote to one option which in this case was White. This simply means that all my content is going to appeal to them. These questions are very helpful as I got an outstanding response so I know clearly what my target audience is.
In this question I asked my audience what their hobbies are. From this information I will know what content they ill want to see inside the magazine and what content will appeal them on my website. I this case the most popular hobbies are Music, Sports and going shopping. Potentially I could have sections inside my magazine that relate to this topics but have images of headings relate to this topics on my website should attract my audience in to read and explore further.
Conventionally my audience said that there preferred way to navigate around a website is using a search bar, drop down menus and a horizontal bar running across the top of the website. These features won't be too difficult to add into a website and if my audience want them this much then Ill be able to add them in. A horizontal bar running across the top could work with further drop down options from this. At the end of this bar I could also insert a search bar for quick navigation.
I have had a complete mix of results when asking what my audience would expect to see in a regional magazine website. Images was the highest ranking but the majority of the others were closely followed. I feel like I could include most of this content on my website but I may have to investigate further to get a clear understand on this question.
Looking at my responses on this question it tells me that my audience cares a lot about what is actually featured on the website in terms of content and articles. I must ensure that there is plenty of these that appeals to them. My audience also seem to have a liken into the images portrayed and the colour scheme. Again these are themes that I will have to use that apply to my target audience. Surprisingly there was no votes for the masthead. Even though this was the case I will still tae care over this in order for it to be looking professional.
In terms of colours that attract my target audience Black & White seem very popular which makes me happy as these colours work so well together and will be fitting to use on a website. Furthermore Blue and purple seem like colours that my audience want to see. I will also include these colours to make my website more vibrant and appealing to the eye.
